Yesáh Future-Making

We are engaging in collaborative, Indigenous community-driven efforts to revitalize the Monacan/Tutelo-Saponi language (Yésą:sahi) through immersive language learning and knowledge gatherings that will use a collective grassroots process for renaming sacred sites, landscape features and places in Yésąh:sahi as well as designing both physical and online educational resources, story and traditional knowledge maps and public signage.
